    3. Health Information and HIPAA

Jyra Health is generally not a "covered entity" under HIPAA. However, certain independent medical groups and pharmacies accessible through the Platform may be covered entities or business associates under HIPAA, and Jyra Health may in some circumstances act as a business associate and handle protected health information ("PHI") accordingly. "Protected Information" means PHI and any health or medical information subject to additional state law protections. "Non-Protected Information" means data not used in connection with diagnosis, treatment, or payment, such as account registration details. Protected Information is used and disclosed only as permitted by applicable law and any applicable Notice of Privacy Practices.

4.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies We use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, tracking pixels, and mobile IDs to operate and improve our Services, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and deliver and measure advertising. You may control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Service functionality. See Section 8 for more.

4.4 Information From Third Parties We may receive information about you from healthcare providers and pharmacies on the Platform, service providers (identity verification, payment processing, analytics, advertising), marketing partners, and public or commercial sources. We may combine this with other data we collect to provide and improve the Services.

    5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and manage the Services, including account management, scheduling, telehealth, prescriptions, payments, and customer support; to operate, improve, and secure the Platform; to conduct analytics and internal research; to personalize your experience; to send transactional and administrative communications; to deliver marketing communications where permitted by law and your preferences (see Section 8 to opt out); and to comply with legal obligations and defend our legal rights.

    6. Online Analytics and Advertising

We use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics and MixPanel to analyze usage through cookies and similar tools. If you have a Google account with personalized advertising enabled, Google Signals may gather cross-device data; you may opt out via your device's Google ad settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

    7. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with healthcare providers and pharmacies to coordinate care and fulfill prescriptions; with service providers performing functions on our behalf (hosting, billing, analytics, fraud prevention, legal services) who are contractually limited to using your data only for those purposes; with affiliates to support consistent service delivery; with advertising and analytics partners where permitted by law; and with successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.

We may also disclose your information to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful government requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Jyra Health, our users, or others. Information you post in public areas of the Services is not confidential. We may also share your information with your consent or at your direction. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be used and shared for any lawful purpose.

    8. Your Choices and Controls

You may update your account information by logging in, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us, and adjust push notification settings in your device or app settings. Even after opting out of marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages related to your account or Services. You may control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain Service features.
